Kim Anderson will present to the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) convention in Regina on January 31, 2010. Kim will be addressing SUMA on the topic of Non-Title Tax Enforcement.

CWD Class Action to Proceed

Justice Laing of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Saskatchewan has granted certification of a class action on behalf of commercial game farmers who suffered economic loss as a result of the conduct of the Government of Saskatchewan in administering the Saskatchewan Cervid Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Surveillance and Certification Program.

Reynold Robertson Q.C. is lead counsel on behalf of the class of farmers adversely affected by the Government’s conduct. Justice Laing’s decision has cleared the path for the Plaintiff to proceed to trial.
