Jamesy Patrick

Jamesy has dedicated her practice to Family Law, with a strong focus on child protection matters. Her wealth of knowledge and experience advocating for children in difficult situations means she will advocate for you and your children in a timely and cost-effective manner. Prior to joining Robertson Stromberg Jamesy was Crown Counsel, practising in Saskatoon.


Jamesy was called to the Bar in 2013. Jamesy received her Juris Doctor (JD) (2012), and Master of Laws (LLM)(2017) from the University of Saskatchewan. Jamesy’s research areas were in Indigenous child protection, and she was the recipient of the Ted and Helen Hughes Prize for Excellence Indigenous Children and/or Youth and the Law.

Jamesy also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (2006) from York University, Toronto.

Jamesy teaches as a sessional lecturer at the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan, where she presents frequently in the area of Child Protection. Jamesy is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Bar Association and Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association.

Jamesy is a guest lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Saskatchewan, and was a past Board Member of the University of Saskatchewan Research Ethics committee.
