Kemi graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, in 2005 – LL.B (Hons). After graduating from the Nigerian Law School (BL), Kemi was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. She is a graduate member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, formerly the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) England. Besides holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales, UK, she is also a Project Management Professional (PMP). Kemi joined Robertson Stromberg in 2018 as a legal assistant and was awarded a Certificate of Qualification in 2021 by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
