Mark is a member of the firm’s corporate/commercial practice group. His practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, commercial real estate, and complex secured lending. Mark’s practice spans a diverse range of industries, including agribusiness, real estate development, and finance, with a focus on delivering strategic solutions tailored to clients’ business objectives. He has extensive experience guiding clients through intricate M&A transactions, from deal structuring and negotiation to regulatory compliance and post-closing integration.

Mark brings deep experience in secured lending, helping financial institutions and borrowers navigate the complexities of large-scale financing arrangements, security interests, and loan syndications. In the commercial real estate space, he works with developers, investors, and corporate clients on high-value acquisitions, sales, and leasing arrangements, ensuring that every transaction aligns with both immediate and long-term business goals.

Mark is the President for the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Branch for 2024 – 2025. He has held numerous board positions and volunteers his time coaching youth sports and presenting on topics relating to corporate/commercial law. Mark was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada® in the field of Corporate Law.
