MEET OUR LAWYERS
Tiffany practises primarily in the area of family law. Within her family law practice, Tiffany has extensive experience in divorce, property division, custody, parenting, child and spousal support, adoption and child protection, surrogacy and assisted reproduction, in addition to negotiating and litigating family disputes. Tiffany’s training, and skills, as a certified collaborative lawyer are of particular benefit to her family law clients. Collaborative law is a process enabling couples who have decided to separate to work with their lawyers and other family professionals in order to achieve a settlement and avoid court.
Tiffany has a record of successful litigation before the Court of Queen’s Bench, Court of Queen’s Bench FLD and the Court of Appeal.
A University of Saskatchewan alumna, Tiffany received a Bachelor of Arts Advanced degree in psychology in 1996 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1998. Tiffany also attended the intensive French Immersion program at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She was admitted to the Bar in Saskatchewan in 1999. Tiffany also earned a Bachelor of Arts (certificate) in French in 2000. She became a Certified Collaborative Lawyer in 2004.
Tiffany is actively involved in professional organizations that enhance her knowledge and skills. She has held a number of positions within the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), as well as Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association as a conference chair. Tiffany is a member of the Law Foundation of Saskatchewan Assisted Reproduction Task Force. Tiffany is also a past President of the Saskatoon Bar Association.
In 2000, Tiffany was the youngest person ever elected as a City Councillor in Saskatoon and was subsequently appointed as the youngest deputy mayor in the history of Saskatoon. Tiffany was re-elected 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2012, after which she chose to step down. Tiffany received the 2018 Life Membership Award from the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association for her years of dedication and commitment to her community and contribution to urban government in Saskatchewan.
Tiffany has been named one of the ten most influential women in Saskatchewan and in 2009 was appointed Queen’s Counsel by Saskatchewan’s Minister of Justice (one of the fastest, and youngest, appointments in the province’s history).
In addition to her family law practice Tiffany is the current Board Chair of the Saskatoon Community Foundation and is a Director of the Saskatoon Police Service Foundation. She is also a member of the École Lakeview parent council.
Tiffany is married to Larry, an Inspector with the Saskatoon Police Service, and they have a daughter and a son, Eden and Rhode.
