Tiffany Paulsen nominated for Women of Distinction Award

Partner Tiffany M. Paulsen has been nominated for this year’s YWCA Women of Distinction Award in the Leadership, Management and Professions category.

Tiffany is dedicated to her family law practice and is actively involved in several professional organizations. Her committment to the profession earned her the designation of Queen’s Counsel in 2009.  Along with her busy law practice, Tiffany continues to serve Saskatoon as as City Councillor, a position she has held since being elected in 2000.  She currently sits on over twenty local, provincial and national Boards, Commissions and Committees. 

The YWCA Women of Distinction Awards will be presented at TCU on May 29, 2014.

Tiffany Paulsen to be honoured at Saskatoon Shines! Tourism Leadership Celebration

Tourism Saskatoon is hosting a celebration to honour individuals who have made a significant contribution and demonstrated strong leadership in hosting major conventions, sporting events and annual festivals.  Tiffany’s work as Chair of the Local Host Committee for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Convention will be celebrated at a dinner held June 18th in the city.

Tiffany Paulsen named distinguished graduate

Tiffany Paulsen Q.C. was recently named one of the “100 distinguished graduates” at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law Centennial Celebrations.  The College of Law highlighted Tiffany’s impressive litigation record before the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Court of Queen’s Bench Family Law Division, the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.  In addition to her law practice, Tiffany has an extensive career in public service as a City Councillor in the City of Saskatoon.  In 2000, Tiffany was the youngest person ever to be elected to Saskatoon City Council.  Tiffany was re-elected in 2003, 2006,  2009 and 2012.  In 2003, Tiffany was named one of the most influential women in Saskatchewan by Saskatchewan Business magazine and in 2009 Tiffany received her Queen’s Counsel designation.  Tiffany was one of the youngest practitioners in Saskatchewan history to receive a Q.C. from the Minister of Justice.

Today’s issue of “Bridges”, a local weekly newspaper published by the Star Pheonix features a story about RSP lawyer Tiffany Paulsen.  Tiffany is soon returning to RSP from a maternity leave.  Her other role, that of Saskatoon city councillor does not provide for time off for new parents and thus her young daughter Eden was introduced to city politics at an early age.  The story, including three charming photographs, tells how Tiffany with help from husband Larry Vols is managing to raise a baby while maintaining an active role on city council.
