Kemi Adegoke Joins Robertson Stromberg as Associate

Congratulations to Kemi Adegoke on her call to the Saskatchewan Bar and on joining Robertson Stromberg LLP as an Associate!

Kemi graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, in 2005 – LL.B (Hons). After graduating from the Nigerian Law School (BL), Kemi was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. She is a graduate member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, formerly the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) England. Besides holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales, UK, she is also a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Kemi joined Robertson Stromberg in 2018 as a legal assistant and was awarded a Certificate of Qualification in 2021 by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Timothy Hawryluk, K.C. Appointed Public Inquest Coroner

Timothy Hawryluk, K.C. will preside as coroner at the inquest relating to the death of Marlene Bear who died while held in custody at the Sandy Bay RCMP detachment.  The inquest is scheduled for August 21 to 25, 2023 in Creighton, Saskatchewan. The purpose of the inquest is to establish when and where the Ms. Bear died and the medical cause and manner of her death. Thereafter the inquest jury may make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future.
